The aircraft may be the infrastructure rather than the final product. The more interesting business is whether Arctus can repeatedly collect geospatial data and turn it into monitoring and intelligence customers are willing to pay for again and again.

The economics ultimately depend on a simple relationship:

Aircraft cost + Operations + Maintenance + Data processingversusUtilisation + Revenue per mission + Repeat frequency + Contribution margin

If one aircraft can serve multiple recurring customers at high utilisation, the economics become far more interesting. If utilisation stays low, the hardware can quickly become a heavy capital burden.

My take

The aircraft is what makes Arctus technologically interesting.

Whether it can turn that aircraft into high-utilisation infrastructure producing recurring intelligence is what could make the business financially interesting.
